We start using the office suite

The hardware stopped being a mystery. We know how it looks, what are the different components.

Although the previous week we went a bit into what is software, we went over it again and we check what is an operating system, what are the different operating systems and which one are we using, GNU/Linux. We introduced the concept of user and permissions.

Then started what is going to be one of the great challenges to overcome, the keyboard. Why ?

The framework in which we are working is that, the used language is French, but is not the native language of the participants nor the trainer, the computers are a donation from different countries with different layouts, Spanish, English, German. So to explain and use the keyboard is not the easy task that we could imagine. But the wish and will to learn together with all the possibilities that free software gives will allow us to overcome it.
